Good article, although it’s a little harsh I feel to suggest that if Cesc left now he’d not be remembered. Personally I think he’s done enough to earn legendary status alongside the others you mentioned. It’s not his fault that he’s been surrounded with plonkers whereas Vieira and Henry got to play with Bergkamp, Pires, Adams etc

I believe that he would be foolish to leave now, he only needs to see what has happened to other players that have left since he has joined The Arsenal. But being a Gunner, I wouldn’t blame Fabregas wanting to leave. He is hungry for success, and I feel he would want to achieve this with Arsenal. But this has not happened for 5 seasons and it’s not good! Mr Wenger, needs to understand that he needs to invest in some experiences players, that can come of the bench when we are in trouble to put the game to asleep.
